We learned how to use the live paint bucket (K) tool in class on Thursday. I wanted to color some other additional line drawings, but they were difficult to work with. I stuck with the templates on Professor Sorapure's website! I chose an interesting color scheme for the lotus flower and painted it with muted colors. As for the tulips, the petals were various shades of pink and red. The live painting tutorial is really helpful. I also enjoyed the various image trace options. For both photos, I used the setting 'Line Art.' Sometimes, there were gaps between the lines, which made it difficult to paint the flowers. I used the direct selection tool to move the lines around to close the gaps.
